L'oeuvre "Panthéon de la guerre" aurait 100 ans: la peinture de guerre oubliée...

Un mois avant la fin de Première Guerre Mondiale l'oeuvre "Panthéon de la guerre" fut dévoilée à Paris. Réalisée par un collectif de 130 artistes, ce qui fut considéré comme la plus grande peinture au monde sera ensuite achetée successivement par deux hommes d'affaires américains. Offerte au Liberty Memorial de Kansas au Missouri, la peinture sera sérieusement modifiée pour ne conserver que des éléments liés à la contribution américaine au conflit.
