Il y a quelques semaines j'écrivais que Kadhafi était fascinée par Condie Rice... Mme Rice confirme le "penchant" du dirigeant Libyen dans son autobiographie intitulée "No higher honor". Kadhafi référait à Rice en utilisant le surnom "Princesse africaine"...
"Condoleezza Rice writes in her upcoming memoir that now-deceased Libyan dictator Muammar Qadhafi had “a slightly eerie fascination with me personally” and presented her with a videotape containing photos of her - set to a song composed in her honor.
Qadhafi also insisted Rice meet him in his tent, something she refused to do, insisting it be in his official residence - and they eventually had dinner together in his personal kitchen, despite concerns from her security detail that the meal was not scheduled, according to an excerpt of Rice’s memoir, “No Higher Honor,” published Friday in the Daily Beast.
After dinner, which took place in 2008, Qadhafi announced that he had made Rice - whom he had called an “African princess” to others - a videotape.
“‘Uh oh’, I thought, ‘what is this going to be?’” she writes in her memoirs.
It turned out to be an innocent collection of photos containing Rice and other world leaders, set to a song written for her by a Libyan composer called “Black Flower in the White House”.
“It was weird, but at least it wasn’t raunchy,” Rice reflected.
But Qadhafi was not entirely polite. Earlier on in their meeting, he launched into a tirade about the Israel-Palestinian conflict. “Tell President Bush to stop talking about a two-state solution for Israel and Palestine!” he shouted, according to the Daily Beast’s excerpt of Rice’s memoir. “It should be one state! Israeltine!”"
