Al Smith Dinner: un arrière-goût

Une participation au "Al Smith dinner" est une tradition qui est devenue un passage obligé pour les candidats à la présidence américaine. Habituellement on fait une pause dans la campagne pour échanger quelques blagues sans grande méchanceté tout en cumulant des fonds pour une bonne cause. La campagne 2016 est particulièrement dure et les deux candidats ont profité de l'occasion pour décocher quelques flèches qui n'ont pas toujours été bien reçues. Donald Trump a même été hué.

 Un exemple d'une réplique d'Hillary:

 "People look at the Statue of Liberty and they see a proud symbol of our history as a nation of immigrants. A beacon of hope for people around the world. Donald sees the Statue of Liberty and sees a 4. Maybe a 5 if she loses the torch and tablet and changes her hair."
