Pour les plus intéressés ou "maniaques" d'entre vous, un autre survol des réactions au plan Obama.
"In the days before President Obama’s jobs speech, the White House continued to make one promise: Economists will approve of the president’s economic plan.
“The president feels that the proposals he puts forward tomorrow night will be judged by independent, outside economic analysts to positively affect job growth and economic growth. Full stop,” White House press secretary told reporters Wednesday.
The previous day, Carney had repeated the same message at this press briefing: “The president will put forward a package of ideas that, judged by outside analysts, would have a direct and immediate impact on the economy – positive – growth and job creation.”
The reactions started coming in almost immediately after Obama’s speech on Capitol Hill, and, according to news reports, economists are giving mixed reviews. Here are some of the headlines that emerged after the speech:
AP: Economists show support for Obama job-growth plan
POLITICO: Obama tax cut wouldn't give quick boost, economists say
Los Angeles Times: Economists give Obama’s jobs plan mixed reviews
Washington Post: As Obama readies speech on jobs, economists say best plan might be to renew what’s in place.
USA Today: Obama's $447-billion jobs plan faces opposition"
