Un extrait de l'article:
"For the political winners, Obama and his Democratic congressional allies, the invigoration of having developed a stiffer spine was just a silver lining on the still-bleak horizon for their agenda.
They’re back in the soup in 90 days, they’re all exhausted from constant crisis and, even in accomplishing their goal, they won no new turf. All they did was hold the line and watch with the regretful told-you-so posture of folks who predicted accurately that Republicans would implode. Now, they’re left sounding out hopes – hardly convincing notes – that it won’t happen again.
For the losers, the tea party-aligned House and Senate Republicans and the leaders who followed them into battle against their better judgment, the defeats piled high. Their poll numbers tanked, and they failed to even break the skin of Obamacare.
Making things worse, they were driven to such distraction that they failed to punish the Obama administration for what by all accounts has been an incompetent rollout of the new health exchanges at the heart of the law.
