Joe Biden: impossible à gérer?

Depuis que Barack Obama a arrêté son choix sur Joe Biden pendant la campagne présidentielle de 2008, on se demande comment il fera pour contenir la fougue et le franc-parler de son colistier. Biden était habitué à une grande autonomie et bien souvent on le retrouvait en vedette. Saurait-il "jouer en équipe" et retenir sa langue? Globalement je considère que Biden a fait du bon travail et qu'il a été solidaire de son Président. Il lui arrive encore de ne pas planifier toutes ses déclarations? Oui, mais à ce jeu Obama a plus plus à gagner qu'à perdre. Biden possède un don rare pour les politiciens: il touche les gens.

It was the side of Biden — comfortable with his emotions, and with a gift for human connection — that makes him appealing to many voters. And the moment never would’ve taken place if he had not effectively overruled his would-be handlers. It was a vivid illustration of a phenomenon that pervades the 2012 campaign: The consuming effort by operatives to stamp the spontaneity and life out of modern politics.
