Hillary Clinton ne pouvait être plus claire ce matin. La course qui l'opposait à Obama en 2008 était plus serrée que la campagne 2012 et elle s'est tout de même ralliée à son opposant. Comme Donald Trump est maintenant seul chez les républicains, les démocrates devraient s'unir.

 L'attitude récente de Bernie Sanders et les gestes violents de certains de ses partisans ne font pas que nuire aux démocrates, le tout "accrédite" la position de Trump lorsqu'il affirme qu'il ne peut être tenu responsable de tous les agissements des foules qui se déplacent pour l'entendre. Oui, beaucoup d'Américains ont raison d'être en colère et de l'exprimer, mais Trump et Sanders pourraient être plus vigoureux dans leur appel au calme.

 The contretemps was Trudeau's worst day in office. It raises questions about his maturity, and has given his critics, who have always attacked his youth and inexperience, reason to argue that he does not have the intellect or temperament for the job."

Redskins: les Premières nations peu choquées par le nom de l'équipe (sondage Washington Post)

Depuis un certain temps déjà il y a une controverse entourant le nom de l'équipe de football de Washington D.C.. Même après une intervention du président Obama le propriétaire de l'équipe a maintenu le cap et refusé de modifier le nom. Ce sondage révèle que neuf personnes sur dix au sein des Premières Nations sont peu ou pas choquées par le terme "Redskins". Un résultat qui devrait contribuer à apaiser les discussions.

Donald Trump accuse Bill Clinton de viol

Donald Trump n'a pas hésité à jouer dans la boue depuis le début de sa campagne et ce ne sont pas les controverses qui manquent autour du couple Clinton. On peut s'attendre à ce que Trump exploite chaque présumé scandale sans retenue. Cette fois il a référé aux nombreuses aventures extra-conjugales de Bill Clinton et mentionné qu'il y aurait eu un viol. Si le passé de Clinton avec les femmes est parfois trouble, rien n'indique qu'il ait pu commettre un viol. Si Hillary peine à soulever l'enthousiasme, c'est en partie en raison de ce passé lourd et chargé d'événements pour le moins discutables. Je ne supporte pas Donald Trump, mais le couple doit s'attendre à payer le prix. Quand on passe sa carrière à modifier son discours ou à changer les versions...

In 1999, Clinton’s lawyer, David Kendall, called Broaddrick’s allegations “absolutely false."

Broaddrick, speaking to Breitbart News in an article published earlier Wednesday, said the Times should devote its energy to investigating claims of sexual assault against Bill Clinton.

Both Bill and Hillary Clinton have refused to comment on the issue during the campaign, though Trump has previously hinted that he would go after the former president’s history with women.

After Trump tweeted on Tuesday that Bill Clinton “was the WORST abuser of woman in U.S. political history,” the former president declined to engage. Speaking to reporters in Puerto Rico, he said, “I think people are smart enough to figure this out without my help.”
