Herman Cain: annonce importante demain?

Ce serait une bonne chose pour les républicains s'il annonçait la fin de sa campagne...

"Tomorrow could be the last day of Herman Cain’s wild ride through the presidential contest.

NBC News reports Cain is making a “major announcement” about his campaign on Saturday in Georgia, just a day after he headed home to Atlanta to meet with his wife in person following allegations that he had a 13-year affair with a woman. Cain confirmed the news at a South Carolina campaign stop Friday.

The Cain campaign has offered mixed messages since then, stating that they’re “reassessing” things in the wake of the charge and also claiming that there’s no way Cain is getting out. Cain himself has said leaving the race is an option.

Meanwhile, his campaign has proceded apace, posting a website Friday that highlights Cain’s female support while attacking the many women who have accused him of sexual harassment along with the woman who claims she had a consensual affair with him.

Despite the spin, polls have shown Cain’s support with women has dropped precipitously since the sexual allegations emerged. Polling in Iowa shows his once surging campaign in the caucus state has collapsed there, too."
