Jeune noir tué autour d'une querelle de décibels: le tireur coupable de meurtre

Avec le recours aux lois de type "stand your ground", comme c'est le cas en Floride, il y a toujours un doute qui plane sur l'issu d'un procès lorsque l'accusé prétend qu'il se sentait menacé. Michael Dunn avait ouvert le feu à dix reprises en direction d'un suv où se trouvait la victime et trois de ses amis. La querelle aurait débuté par des échanges sur le bruit trop fort de la musique qu'écoutaient les quatre occupants de la voiture.

Prosecutors say Michael Dunn shot with intent to kill when he fired 10 times into an SUV carrying 17-year-old Jordan Davis and three of his friends in November 2012.

Dunn testified that he thought his life was in danger. Davis was from Marietta, Georgia.%% Dunn was convicted previously of three counts of attempted second-degree murder in February and already faces at least 60 years in prison.

The jury in the first trial deadlocked on the first-degree murder count, which led prosecutors to retry him in this case.
