"About an hour after TPM went up with our scoop about the tens of thousands in campaign cash being transferred over to THE New Voice, Inc. — a company Cain runs to promote his writings — Bloomberg went up with its own version of the story.
Cain told Bloomberg the money was spent on buying copies of Cain’s writing to distribute on the campaign trail.
“They are buying my books and my pamphlets,” Cain told Bloomberg. “The campaign is buying them from T.H.E New Voice.”

The books being bought are Cain’s autobiography and an earlier volume, “They Think You’re Stupid: Why Democrats Lost Your Vote and What Republicans Must Do to Keep It,” as well as a pamphlet on leadership, Cain said.
“The books are being given away to supporters to help Cain acquaint them with his life story,” Bloomberg reported.
As Sunlight Foundation’s Bill Allison told us, and Bloomberg, the fact that Cain’s campaign is buying books from his for-profit company could be a problem.
“It raises the question of his campaign contributions ending up in his own pocket,” Allison said."
