Bobby Jindal entre dans la course et attaque Jeb Bush

Même si Jindal a eu un parcours en dents de scie à la tête de la Louisiane, j'ai toujours considéré que son bagage et ses origines pouvaient en faire un candidat intéressant, Il s'agit du même Jindal qui affirmait en 2013 que le Parti républicain devait cesser d'être le "parti de la stupidité" alors qu'il dénonçait l'emprise des plus conservateurs et des membres du mouvement Tea party. Jindal devient le treizième candidat chez les républicains.

 "While he delivered some pretty nasty attacks on Democratic front-runner Hillary Clinton — “Hillary Clinton is already trying to divide us by ethnicity, by gender, and by economic status” — he reserved his most vicious firepower for Bush, the current GOP front-runner. Jindal warned that Bush is putting the whole Republican Party in danger by appeasing the left and masking conservative views.

“He is saying that we need to hide our conservative ideals,” he said. “But the truth is, if we go down that road again, we will lose again.”

The two-term governor, who is also a former congressman, is not just running on heated rhetoric, though. He’s hoping that his executive experience, coupled with his policy credentials, will help him break through the crowded field as campaign season picks up."
