Trump et l'affaire Iran-Contra

Un angle intéressant présenté dans cet article du new York Times. Si Trump s'inspire de l'administration Reagan dans la gestion de l'affaire Contra-Iran, il pourrait très bien sauver sa présidence qui est sérieusement menacée. Rappelons que des membres de l'administration Reagan avaient vendu des armes à l'Iran, profitant des retombées pour financer les Contras du Nicaragua dans leur lutte contre les sandinistes de Daniel Ortega. J'ajouterai qu'en plus cet article constitue une belle analyse de la procédure de destitution dans le contexte actuel. On retourne ici à l'essence de la procédure selon Alexander Hamilton. Comme je l'affirmais récemment, il y a matière à accuser un président mais la procédure est très politique et on jouerait longtemps sur les mots.
