Obama et les réformes à la NSA

Que dira le Président Obama au sujet des réformes de la NSA plus tard aujourd'hui? Comment gérera-t-on désormais les métadonnées? Le Président fera son allocution vers 11h ce matin.

"Until now, NSA personnel have been able the data based on a “reasonable, articulable suspicion” that phone numbers are tied to terrorist activity. However, no judge routinely reviewed those queries either before or after they were made.

Obama’s plan to significantly alter the NSA’s phone metadata program appears to be largely in line with recommendations he received last month from a five-member outside group he appointed to conduct a broad review of the government’s surveillance efforts. The changes are likely to be welcomed by civil liberties and privacy advocates, as well as lawmakers who have pushed for an end to the government’s “bulk collection” of data.
