Neil Gorsuch candidat pour la Cour suprême: les audiences débutent aujourd'hui

Le siège d'Antonin Scalia est vacant depuis treize mois déjà. Si la nomination de Neil Gorsuch plaît grandement aux Républicains, on peut parier que les Démocrates n'ont pas oublié que le Sénat à majorité républicaine a refusé d'entendre Merrick Garland qui était le choix de Barack Obama. Rappelons au passage que cette nomination constitue l'une des plus importantes décisions de la jeune administration Trump puisque l'influence d'un juge doit être perçue dans la longue durée. Les juges sont nommés à vie. De plus en plus les nominations à la Cour suprême sont le reflet de la ligne partisane.
